Chad D. Roope, CFA®

CEO and Chief Investment Officer

Chad leads the firm’s investment strategy, portfolio construction, and risk management across equity, fixed income, and options-based strategies.

Chad brings extensive experience managing complex portfolios and overseeing large-scale investment platforms. At Sequoia Financial Group, he oversaw $10 billion in assets under management throughout his career. His disciplined approach blends macroeconomic insight with rigorous bottom-up research to guide investment decisions and manage risk across market environments.

Prior to founding On A Mission Investors, Chad was the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) at Lineweaver Financial Group, the CIO at Sequoia Financial Group, the CIO at Stratos Investment Management, Vice President-investment Management at Valmark Financial Group, and Portfolio Consultant at Charles Schwab & Co. He holds a degree in Finance from Western Carolina University, is a CFA® Charterholder, and a member of the CFA Society of Cleveland.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, including backpacking, biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and golfing.
